The ratio of dogs to cats at an animal shelter is 33 to 22. How many dogs are at the shelter if there is a total of 30 animals?

    The ratio of dogs to cats at an animal shelter is 33 to 22 = 3:2

    if there is a total of 30 animals, dogs would be 20 (ratio 3:2 = 20:10)
