The volume of a sphere is 950 cubic inches. use the formula for the volume of a sphere, V = 4/3 (3.14) (r) ratical 3, to find the radius r to the nearest tenth of an inch.

    Volume = 950 cubic inches

    V = 4/3 π r³; where π = 3.14

    950 in³ = 4/3 * 3.14 * r³

    950 in³ = 4.19 * r³

    950 in³ : 4.19 = r³

    226.73 in³ = r³

    ∛226.73 in³ = ∛r³

    6.09 = r

    The radius is 6.09 or 6.10 inches.
