When the Turner triplets walked into the Cut and Style Shop, there were three empty chairs. How many possible ways could the three children be seated in the three chairs?

    There are 3 choices for the first seat, then 2 for the next seat (since the first person picked can't sit in more than one seat), then 1 for the last seat.

    Multiply out the values: 3*2*1 = 6
