    A; d=15g is how many gallons per distance traveled so the reciprocal g=1/15 is how much distance was traveled per gallon of gas.

    The constant of proportionality is also the slope

    and in y = mx + b, the slope will be in the m position

    d = 15g ... let d = y and g = x

    y = 15x + 0 ... so ur slope (constant of proportionality) is 15
