Let t = time for the 2nd car to catch the 1st one

From the problem we know car 1 is 5o km ahead of 2nd

70t=50t+50

70t-50t=50

20t=50

T = 50/20 = 2.5

They will be together after 2.5 hours, 2 hours and 30 minutes
