How do you use the least common denominator to write an equivalent fraction for 5/6, 2/9

    The least common denominator is easy to find when you list a few multiples of the denominators

    Multiples of 6: 6,12,18,24

    Multiples of 9: 9,18,27,36

    So the LCD is 18.

    The fractions become 15/18, 4/18
