Two angles are complementary if the sum of their angles is 90 degrees. one of two complementary angles is 12 degrees more than twice the other. find the measure of each angle

    (2x+12) + x = 90

    2x + x = 90-12

    3x=78

    3x/3x=78/3x

    x = 26

    2 (26) + 12 = 64

    one angle is 26 degrees the other is 64 degrees
