A mountain climber explored a cliff that is 225 yards high in 5 equal descents. How many yards was one descent?

    So if the cliff is 225 yard in height and he want to make it down in 5 equall decents

    that means that each dessent is 1/5 of 225 or 225/5

    225=125 times 5 so if you divied 225 by 5 then you get 125

    so each dessent is 125 yards
