if you continue adding on fractions according to this pattern, when will you reach a sum of 2?

    This is a geometric series with first term 1 and common ratio 1/2

    Sum to infinity = a1 / (1 - r) = 1 / 1/2 = 2

    The answer is it will approach very close to 2 after adding an infinite number of terms.
