This equation is a line so we expect it to cross at least once.
Set y=0 since on the x-axis y=0 and that is where we need to see when it crosses or touches.
y=-7x+8
0=-7x+8
-8+0=-7x+8-8
-8=-7x
-8/-7=-7x/-7
8/7=x
Real zeros 8/7
