Sally is 2 years older than three times her brother Jim's age. If Jim is 4 years old, how old is sally?

    If Jim is 4, then Sally must be:

    (4X3) + 2 = 14 years old.

    So basically Jim is 4.

    Since Sally is older than three times her brother's age, multiply 4 by three to complete the three times her brother's age, and you get 12.

    And she's 2 years older than that so Sally is 14.
