Place value of 7 in this number is 70. Because it is in 10 th place.

Bill number is 36721.

Place value of 7 in Bill number is 700. Because 7 is in 100 th place.

Now we can see place value of 7 in Tom number is 70 and place value of 7 in Bill number is 700.

And we know 70 * 10 = 700.

So we can say 7 in Bill number is 10 times greater than the 7 in Tom number.
