F (x) = x^2+4x-3 g (x) = x^2-5 find 4[f (x) - g (x) ]

    First f (x) - g (x) = x²+4x-3 - x²+5

    = 4x+2

    so 4[f (x) - g (x) ] = 4[4x+2] = 16x+8
