    First find volume of glass

    find volume of ice

    subtract

    cylinder area=height times are of base

    height=5

    area of base=circle=pi times radius^2

    diameter=2radius

    diameter/2=radius

    3/2=radius=1.5

    pi=aprox 3.14

    3.14 times 1.5^2=7.065

    7.065 times 5=35.325=volume of glass

    25 spereical ice

    volume of shqere=4/3 times pi timers r^3

    diameter/2=r

    1.1/2=0.55

    4/3 times 3.14 times 0.55^3=0.696557=1 ice

    multiply by 25

    17.4139

    subtract

    35.325-17.4139=17.9111

    round to one decimal place

    17.9

    the answer is 17.9 cubic inches or

    17.9 in^3
