Wendy needs to purchase 30 vases, which cost $3 each, and flowers for the vases, which cost $2 each. She has $390 to spend on her vases and flowers. Which of the following inequalities would show the maximum number of flowers, x, Wendy can buy without spending more than $390?

    150 flowers because 30 vases*$3 each=$90

    $390-$90=$300

    Each flower is $2, so the leftover $300/$2 for each flower is 150.
