    There is a couple ways to solve this ... with fractions or without fractions

    (without fractions)

    1/7m - 4/7 = 3 ... multiply everything by common denominator of 7

    m - 4 = 21

    m = 21 + 4

    m = 25

    (with fractions)

    1/7m - 4/7 = 3

    1/7m = 3 + 4/7

    1/7m = 21/7 + 4/7

    1/7m = 25/7

    m = 25/7 * 7

    m = 25

    either way, u will get the same answer
