Change it to an improper fraction. So you have 29/3 - 47/6. Now you have to have common denominator. Change 29/3 to match the 6 in the denominator. So multiply the numerator and denominator by 3 because 2 (3) = 6 So now its 87/6-47/6. This equals 40/6. then simplify 40/6=20/3. Then change it to a mixed number. 6 2/3
