Find the area of the surface. the part of the surface z = 9 + 5x + 2y2 that lies above the triangle with vertices (0, 0), (0, 1), (2, 1).

    A=1/2 base * height

    A = 1/2 (2) (1) = 1

    so the surface area is 1.
