Two congruent triangles fit together to form a parallelogram with a base of 14 inches and a height of 10 inches. What is the area of each triangle?

    To find the answer you will find the area of the parallelogram by multpltig the base (14 in) by the height (10 in).

    After this you will divide the answer of 140 square inches by 2 because the area each congruent triangle would be half of the total area.

    The answer is 70 square inches for each triangle.
