Joey cut a 10.5 foot length rope into 6 pieces of equal length. How long was each piece?

    1.75 feet each.

    6 * 1.75 = 10.5

    10.5 / 6 = p

    10.5 / 6 = 1.75

    so p = 1.75

    each piece would be 1.75 feet each
