In an election, the winning candidate had 160 more votes then the loser. If the total number of votes cast was 3260, how many votes did each candidate receive?

    3260/2 = 1630

    160/2 = 80

    Loser received 1630 - 80 = 1550 votes.

    Winner received 1630 + 80 = 1710 votes.
