To find the answer, divide the amount of money Faith paid by the amount of money the newspaper charged for 3 lines of print. That is:

$25.10/$5.02=5 5*3=15 Therefore there were fifteen lines in the ad.

The ad was around 15 lines.

    25.10/5.02 = 5

    and then 5 * 3 = 15 lines
