How can you use an inch ruler to show equal fractions

    Look at just one inch, from 0 to 1, the little tallies between 0 and 1. the middle tally should be the largest, that is the half mark showing half of an inch, the next large tally should be 2, those show the quarters of an inch meaning one fourth, then next sized tally should be eighths and if there is another set of tallies it will be 16th's, but those tallies would show you the equal fractions.
