If f (x) = 2x² + 5x - 1; g (x) = x + 3, find the following.

(a) (f/g) (x)

(b) (f/g) (4)

Do not simplify.

    F/g (x) = (2x^2 + 5x - 1) / (x + 3)

    f/g (4) = (2 (16) + 5 (4) - 1) / (4 + 3)

    = (32 + 20 - 1) / 7

    = 51/7
