    Area=pi time radius^2

    radius=7.6cm

    area=pi times 7.6^2

    area=57.76 times pi

    if we use pi=3.14 then

    area=57.76 times 3.14

    area=181.3664 squar centimeters

    it's not 23.64, where'd you get that

    Area of a circle = PI * radius ^ 2

    Area = 3.14159 * 7.6 ^ 2

    Area = 3.14159 * 57.76

    Area = 181.458 square centimeters
