The base of a triangle is 4 cm greater than the height. the area is 30 cm^2. find the height and base of the triangle.

    Suppose height (h) of the triangle as 'x' and by the question base (b) as 'x+4'.

    now use the formula

    area (A) = 1/2*base (b) * height (h)

    substitute the value and you will get the answer
