A cyclist rides her bike at a rate of 10 meters per second. What is this rate in kilometers per hour? How many kilometers will the cyclist travel in 3 hours? Do not round your answers.

    10 meters per second converts to 36 kilometers per hour. Therefore to find how far the cyclist goes in 3 hours, you multiply that number by 3 to get 108 kilometers.
