The height of a person and the person's age, is the relationship linear?

    Liniear means that they go up at a constant rate

    example, every year you grow 2 inches and you started at 8 inches tall

    that would be linear

    but that is not the case

    generally, the younger you are, the faster you grow

    as you age, you don't grow as much anymore : (

    so no, it is not linear
