    Area (a) = length (l) * width (w)

    l=w+4

    a=w (w+4)

    a=w^2+4w

    35=w^2+4w

    0=w^2+4w-35

    w=4.2

    l=4.2+4

    l=8.2

    so, the width is 4.2 meters long and the length is 8.2 meters long.
