How do you find the perimeter of a rectangle

    You would add the longer side and the width together and multiply by 2 since there are 2 of each sides.

    Example: a 2 by 6 rectangle.

    2+6=8

    8 x 2 = 16

    The perimeter of the 2 by 6 rectangle would be 16.
