There are 29 girls in a class that originally had 25 girls in it what is the percentage increased in the number of girls in the class?

    Find the difference between the numbers, so in this case, 29-25 = 4. Take the difference which is 4 and divide by the original amount so 4/25 =.16 Finally, you multiply the number by 100 so. 16 * 100 = 16. The percent increase is 16%.
