The base of a triangular pyramid is a triangle with a base of 4 inches and a height of 3.5 inches. The height of the triangular pyramid is 3.3 inches. What is the volume of the triangular pyramid? (this is different than my last question!)

    V = 1/3 (A * h). A = area and h = height. A = 1/2 (bh), so A = 7. V = 1/3 (7 * 3.3), which equals 7.7

    The volume of the triangular pyramid is 7.7 cubic inches

    The volume of a triangular pyramid is equal to 1/3 (1/2*l*w*h)
