    1) total-spent=left over to spend on brother

    1.1) 20-3.5=16.5

    2) left over to spend on brother : price of baseball cards

    2.2) 16.5 : 1.25 = 13.2

    3) you can buy 13 cards and have 20 cents left

    20-3.50=16.50

    16.50:1.25=13.2

you can buy 13 baseball cards and have $0.50 (fifty cents) leftover (remainder)

    so the answer is 13 R. 0.20
