A box contains 3 red balls, 2 white balls, and 5 black balls. two balls are drawn at random from the box (with replacement of the first before the second is drawn). what is the probability of getting a red ball on the first draw and a white ball on the second?

    The chance of two events both occurring is the product of the chances of each individual event occurring. The chance of getting a red ball on the first draw is 3/10. The chance of getting a white ball on the second draw is 1/5. So, the chance of both happening is 3/50.
