A 50-kg object moving at 12 m/s has a momentum of 600 kg ' g m/s. What is the mass of an object, moving at 4 m/s that has the same momentum?

    Momentum "p" is given as

    p = m*v

    m - mass

    v - velocity

    you wnat the mass if the velocity is 4 m/s and momentum is 600

    substitute these values in

    4*m = 600

    divide 4 to both sides,

    m=600/4
