Sheila mixed 3 ounces of blue paint with 2 ounces of yellow paint. She decided to create 20 ounces of the same mixture. How many ounces of yellow paint does Sheila need for the new mixtures?

    For this question you need to create a ratio comparing the amount of blue paint to yellow paint (a 3:2 ratio) and you convert that to the amount of paint she wants to use now (20 ounces). you do this by multiplying our ratio by 4 for each value - giving us a value of 12 ounces of blue paint and 8 ounces of yellow paint
