Irrational numbers can never be precisely represented in decimal form. why is this?

    Rational fractions can all be represented in decimal form because the numerator will eventually divide evenly into the denominator. Irrational numbers, however, will never be able to be completely represented in decimal form because the numbers that come after the decimal are endless.
