Write as the log of a single argument: log 36 - log 12 + log 2

    Adding logs is like multiplying the arguments

    subtracting logs is like dividing them

    log 36 - log 12 = log 36/12 = log 3

    log 3 + log 2 = log 3*2 = log 6
