    Distribute the 7 to 7x and - 5

    You'll get 49x - 35 + 13x

    Combine like terms

    49x+13x = 62x

    62x - 35 (this is the simplified version)

    If the problem is asking to find x then you bring 35 to the other side

    It'll be 62x = 35

    Divide 62 from both sides

    x = 62/35
