A box contains one green, two white, and five purple beads. Luis chooses a bead from the box. What are the probabilities of choosing a green bead and choosing a white bead?

    No. of green bead = 1

    No. of white bead = 2

    No. of purple bead = 5

    Total beads = 1+2+5=8

    Probability of green bead = 1/8

    Probability of white bead = 2/8 = 1/4

    Probability of choosing either green or white = 3/8
