How do i solve this

3x=3 (x+4)

    First, expand the bracket: to do that, multiply what is inside the parenthesis by what is outside the parenthesis.

    3 (x+4) = 3x+12

    3x=3x+4 Next group like terms, so move 3x from the right side of the equal side to the left side of the equal sign. Since it is positive on the right side, it will become negative when moved. Subtract 3x from both sides

    3x-3x=3x+4-3x

    0x=4

    0x/0=4/0

    x=undefined

    Looks like this equation doesn't have a solution.
