    We are given the equation:

    F (x) = T - 2 (x + 4) ^2 - - - > equation 1

    Since we know that f (-8.3) = f (a) and a>0, therefore from equation 1 we can generate that:

    (x + 4) ^2 = (a + 4) ^2

    (-8.3 + 4) ^2 = (a + 4) ^2

    (-4.3) ^2 = (a + 4) ^2

    (a + 4) ^2 = 18.49

    a + 4 = 4.3

    a = 0.3
