    g (c) = x^2-x

    g (2) = 4 - 2 = 2

    g (2+h) = (2+h) ^2 - (2+h)

    g (2+h) = 4 + 4h + h^2 - 2 - h

    g (2+h) = h^2 + 3h + 2

    g (2+h) - g (2) / h = (h^2 + 3h + 2 - 2) / h

    g (2+h) - g (2) / h = (h^2 + 3h) / h

    g (2+h) - g (2) / h = h + 3
