At tire depot a pair of new tires sells for $216. The manager's special advertises the same tires selling at a rate of $380 for 4 tires. How much do you save per tire if you purchase the manager's special?

    First you must fnd the unit rate of the manager's special, 380 divided by 4 = $95

    Then you need to to find the unit rate for 1 tire at regular price,

    216 divided by 2 = 108

    Then you subtract 95 from 108

    108-95=13

    You save $13 per tire
