    1. X^2+9x+20

    =x^2 + (4+5) x+20

    =x^2+4x+5x+20

    =x (x+4) + 5 (x+4)

    = (x+4) (x+5)

    So zeroes are - 4 and - 5

    2. x^2-4x-60

    =x^2 - (10-6) x-60

    =x^2-10x+6x-60

    =x (x-10) + 6 (x-10)

    = (x-10) (x+6)

    So zeroes are 10 and - 6

    3. x^2+24=14x

    =x^2-14x+24

    =x^2 - (12+2) x+24

    =x^2-12x-2x+24

    =x (x-12) - 2 (x-12)

    = (x-12) (x-2)

So zeroes are 12 and 2

    4. x^2-x-72

    =x^2 - (9-8) x-72

    =x^2-9x+8x-72

    =x (x-9) + 8 (x-9)

    = (x-9) (x+8)

So the zeroes are 9 and - 8
