Mia played in two softball games one afternoon. the first game lasted 42 minutes the second game lasted 5/3 times longer than the first game. how long did Mia's second game last?

    1st game was 42 minutes ... 2nd game was 5/3 times longer ... so we multiply

    5/3 * 42 = (5 * 42) / 3 = 210/3 = 70 minutes ... so the 2nd game was 70 minutes or 1 hr and 10 minutes
