Let x the lower price coffee and, y the high price coffee:

y=50

3x+5y=4.25 (x+y)

3x+5 (50) = 4.25 (x+50)

3x+250=4.25x+212.5

1.25x=37.5

x=30 pounds of the $3 coffee
