Does adding zero to a number ever change its value? what is this property called?

    No Additive identity/zero property of addition In math there are several identity properties for the various function. These are special values that when the operation is done using those values, the result will be the value you started with. For addition, that special value is zero. Adding zero to any value will result in the original value. Hence, zero is the additive identity value.
