Courtney and Alan are conducting an experiment. Every time Courtney flips a fair two-sided coin, Alan rolls a six-sided die. What is the probability that the coin will land on heads and the die will land on 2?

    1/12 because if the coin lands on heads there are 6 other numbers it could land on. if the coin lands on tails there are another 6 numbers. so the probability of it landing on heads and rolling a 2 would be 1 out of 12.
