2/3 (5 x 4) : 3 + 6/7 =

    You do the multiplication in the brackets first

    so 2/3 (20) / 3 + 6/7

    then multiply 20 by 2/3 to get 40/3

    then divide 40/3 by 3 to get 40/9

    and finally add 40/9 to 6/7 by finding the least common denominator
